Savannah whipped around toward him. “You used me too?”
He didn’t answer quickly enough.
Graham looked at me, not Dad. “If there were a different deal,” he said, “one without this structure… would you consider it?”
Every eye in the room landed on me.
I looked at Savannah, who seemed angrier at our father than at me. I looked at my crew in the kitchen doorway. I looked at the dining room I had built plate by plate.
